Isabelle Dunkeson

Isabelle Dunkeson, L.M.T., founded southwest Florida's first massage school in 1976 and has been a resident of Sarasota, Florida since 1974. The acupuncture program became an integral part of the school in 1995. She is a results oriented person with over 30 years of business and professional experience in the natural healing field. Isabelle is the past owner of a natural foods store, published a nationally distributed magazine called Natural Life Styles and produced Sarasota's first Holistic Film Festival entitled "Health, Healing and Happiness." She studied in India with Dr. Randolph Stone, Founder of polarity therapy and practiced in a nature cure clinic there. Her travels also took her to Japan, Taiwan and the Philippines where she produced a film with biochemist Stuart Wheelwright of the natural healing arts of Shiatsu, Acupuncture and Herbology. She has also studied with Euell Gibbons, Adele Davis, Paul Bragg, Stanley Borroughs, Dr. Raymond Christopher and Bernard Jensen.

Isabelle is Co-Director at the Natural Healing Arts School of Massage Therapy and teacher. Isabelle envisions the school as a transformational environment in which students are fully prepared to pass the Boards and embark upon successful careers.

Jerry Wexler, Director

Jerry Wexler, L.T.M. is a graduate of the Sarasota School of Natural Healing Arts. He is a licensed massage therapist, licensed by both the States of Mississippi and Florida and is nationally certified by the NCBTMB. Jerry has worked as teacher and assistant administrator at the Florida School and was a teacher at the Massage School in Jackson, MS. Jerry has, in addition, worked with a Chiropractic Clinic doing clinical massage therapy and brings his 20 years of experience and expertise to the school.
